How do you clean those...

Options
placemats...the ones that are kind of woven string type material. I have green coloured place mats that are desperate for a clean but not sure if they can go in the washing machine or if there is a better way to get them clean again

thx

I would just soak them in a bowl of washing powder and see how they go to start with, just keep going and giving them a little scrub.
  • I have rush mats and these I wash in cold water with a squirt of washing-up liquid, scrub with a brush and rinse. have had them for years and they have survived so far! I wouldn't use hot water as I think this may distort them. HTH
