Need a Broker

Can anyone recommend a reliable broker.
We’re getting the run around from our current broker, keeps telling me he’s waiting for Abbey to get back to him, we selected the mortgage and signed application at the beginning of August, he was supposed to do the paper work and send it of. I told him last Tuesday if I didn’t hear anything from him that I would be looking elsewhere, to date he still hasn’t bothered to contact me.

Briefly, we are buying a house for 235k and need to borrow 115k, ideally fixed for two or more years. There are 3 buyers, with income close to 100k (from different sources) but difficult to prove. I have a settled ccj from a £70 parking fine that I didn’t know about until I did a credit search and found the ccj. Two of us have an existing residential mortgage which will be paid off within a few weeks, the third is the main (first) buyer and will be living in the new property.

Seller is rightly getting impatient so would need quick turn around. Any one able to help?

    What are the incomes?

Do you have proof of those incomes?

  • Look on the serach engines for a mortgage broker who is whole of market and fee free - they should be able to help and be far more efficient than your current broker!

Friends and recommendations would be the first port of call IMO

depends on what proof is required.

We can show bank statements with salary/ rental income being deposited.

see my first post typo in the amount we need to borrow should be 115 on a 235 purchase.

    Are you 3 employed people?

If so, what are the 3 gross yearly salaries?

You state rental income - will that rental income continue to be received once you have bought the new property? DO you have an AST to verify this income ?

Some brokers are put off acting for 3 applicants as the fact find, lender application and other paperwork is often duplicated as such applications are designed for max' 2 people only.
