16 hours a week at minimum wage is £115.20 I think. So more than just over £100.0

For me as a single parent it's 16 hours.
I discussed it with my job search advisor and because of childcare constraints I was advised that for the time being my best option was to work 16 hours and claim working tax credits to maximise my take home income.

I would assume you would need to prove to Tax Credits that you are working 16 hours a week. To do that I suspect they will want payslips.0 -

You can't claim working tax credits without a PAYE and employee number. I don't think they'll expect to see payslips but they'll want to know who your employer is and the above information.0
