I havent done recently, but I used to put newspaper on both the tops and the shelves of food cupboards (but not plates etc). It does save all that wiping. When I was little my mum used to line her kitchen cupboards with waxed paper that she bought on a roll from the newsagents, but I havent seen any for ages. I have thought of using cheap wrapping paper though.0

I don't bother, paper would get tatty very quickly the way I ram things into cupboards. The cheapest 'proper' stuff I've seen was in IKEA if you are near one, it was a plastic sheet (but came rolled up) with raised dimples in A lovely deep blue or clear(ish).0

Willpower? thats what we use - £2.99 for a long roll. Its wipeable and heavy duty. Not very OS though!0

I've just converted understairs into a pantry (all wood for shelves was recylced from an old wardrobe that was falling apart) anyway the shelves looked awful, luckily I had some fablon type stuff hanging around and used that, otherwise I would have used wallpaper and stuck it down with sticky tape.£2 Savers Club joined 24/09/07, saved so far £8.00 :T
