I'm assuming its better to use a broker than a bank?
can someone recommend me a broker for me. I'm self employed but don't earn much.

try https://www.unbiased.co.uk/
Or see if you have any local brokers who may help you, friend recommendations e.t.c
I would probably avoid the free ones from the larger broker firms, as they sacrifice quality and customer service for case load and therefore profit.
A fee paying broker will spend more time with you and hand hold you better."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
