Nationwide, AIP

Hi. I and my husband applying for a mortgage. We have a 20% deposit, he has excellent credit score, although I am a little bit sceptical as I had some problems before and my credit rating is bad. But we applied and Nationwide gave us an AIP. My question is - did they do full credit check on this stage or they do credit check after? Any chance they will change their mind? (We provided all documents they asked for)

Hey I can't tell you what will happen with your case, but I have to say me and my partner both had excellent credit ratings and nationwide messed us about for 3 weeks after applying for the AIP ( they do, do a hard credit search on experian when you do one) and eventually we just threw the towel in with them last week and applied with Barclays and our mortgage was sorted with them In a week. if you do decide to go with nationwide I hope you have a lot of patience!:eek: good luck!0

Thank you. Our broker advised us to go to Nationwide in our situation.0
