how long do you wait for a win and it still has not shown up before you get a bit cheesed off a friend mentioned going to trading standards but how long is long enough?

I've had to chase up a couple and they arrived shortly afterwards, leading me to believe they had been forgotten about. I would of thought the standard would have been allow 28 days unless stated otherwise and if they haven't arrived by then chase them up politely and if no response take it further. I chased up 1 and they sent me some vouchers with the prize as an apology so it was worth the wait. Good luck getting your prizes x

I'd say 28 days is about how long I'd wait until I contacted the company I won from. The longest I've waited for a comp is about 7 weeks. What comp is it for?

I'd ring as opposed to email, hard to shirk a person talking to you "face to face" so to speak... emails can be ignored

well umm here goes

x-bike - 15th august winning email - several emails later and still waiting for them to ring me with regards to delivery (wait so far 1month 1week 2days and counting lol!)

black gold poster signed by directors - 11th june winning email recieved - after tons of emails finally got a poster not signed though! more emails later someone is on holiday and supposed to be sorting out an alternative prize (i want what i won not something else!) (wait so far - 3months 2weeks)

thin lizzy cd - 18th july winning email recieved - three or four emails sent no replies what so ever - wait so far - 2 months 1 week)

sent an email to trading standards asking for adivce we shall see not sure what they will be able to do but one step further than firing emails to and fro!
