DMP impact on credit rating.

Cheers guys, I make my first payment to CCCS in the next couple of weeks and expect some fun and games (!) from creditors over the coming months. I will keep you all updated with how things go and fingers crossed will all work out for the best in the long run.

Just be firm with your creditors if they phone ... 9 out of 10 will just say fair enough and leave you alone once you say you're in the process of setting up a DMP, however theres always one that will try to get you to make an 'interim' payment .... be firm, stick to your guns!

I was told by somebody at CCCS to expect MBNA and HSBC to be the least accepting of my DMP as a result of them being bigger international companies. Only time will tell I suppose. I will stick to my guns though, the budget that I have worked out with CCCS is realistic and therefore I can't afford to give them more than they will be offered and given as part of my DMP.

Really wish I came on here ages ago, would certainly have saved me some sleepless nights, SOOO much support and information on here!
