EssexHebridean has offered you fab advice.

I would maybe change the order to make the Aqua card the first priority given the APR.

Consider altering your Council Tax to have it over 12 months. This will help with the budgeting.

Having now seen the APR - yes - so would I!!!:rotfl:

    (And thank you!)

We don't need to pay for travel insurance as it's free with work (we work for an insurer), this is also why the home insurance is so cheap (50% discount) for the top policy.

The £220 groceries is for food at home, cleaning supplies, washing supplies etc. We shop online at Sainsbury's and Iceland. I write up a list of dinners for each day, and then write a list based on those dinners, and buy like that. I don't buy snacks etc for at home. All dinners are planned in advance. There is a Lidl in the town over, but no Aldi nearby. Although this now will include lunches as have discussed with OH and we will be cooking bigger dinners in order to take them to work as well.

When the new council tax bill comes in for 17/18 I'll be changing it to 12 months, and will use the additional amounts for the Aqua CC.

I believe that overtime comes back in March / April so I'll be able to do enough overtime to pay off one Aqua one month, and one of the Capital One CC's another month.

With the storage, it's difficult. We mostly have stuff that we could put in our garage but some stuff won't fit and we can't get it in the flat (as we live on 4th floor, and no lifts!). I think next weekend we're going to storage anyway to see what we can get out of there and put in the garage to at least downsize the storage room we have so it's cheaper.

I may have misunderstood - but do I take it that you & OH work for the same company? If so, then you should consider doubling the usual recommendations for an emergency fund - basing your figures on a potential total loss of income as a "Worst case".

On the storage side of things - bear in mind that stuff stored in a garage may well not be covered by insurance - although I guess for you this is straightforward to check! :rotfl:
