Woolly Jumpers - not the livestock kind!

Does anywhere have good sales of winter woolies yet? My husband is frozen and blue round the edges and needs a real wool jumper :D

    Charity shops are great for home-knits - but not so much at this time of year really. Best to look in the Spring when people are having a clearout of their winter clothes having forgotten the minus 6 it is today.

    I've had some lovely wool home knitted jumpers from CSs. Or buy him some wool and a 'how to knit' book?

    I am a knitter but he's too big for me to knit jumpers for lol - I stick to hats scarves and gloves. I can't get to any charity shops, it needs to be online xx

    Wearing layers is good to keep warm, vest, t shirt, shirt and wool jumper. For outdoors, wear a lightweight down jacket underneath a coat to keep the winter chill out. This one is a good price:

    He is wearing layers Nile but its stuff the kids bought him for xmas and all seems to be cheap acrylic. It's ok now, I found a cashmere/merino blend cardi on Woolovers. Many thanks everybody!
