The prize draw is open to residents and citizens of the UK aged 21 years or over except employees of Visit Victoria, Trailfinders and Qantas Airways Limited (Qantas). The competition is open from 00:01 GMT on 23 January 2017 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 23 February 2017. Participants are allowed to enter once via the online competition form on the Australia Road Trip website. The holiday prize is for two adults travelling together and consists of two return Qantas economy flights from London Heathrow to Melbourne; two nights in a Melbourne hotel on a room only basis and seven nights Maui motorhome hire. The prize is valid for departures 1 September 2017 – 30 April 2018 with the following blackout dates; 29-30 September, 6-7 October, 3-7 November, 20 December – 15 February, 1-4, 8-11, 15-18 & 22-25 March and 29 March – 1 April. The prize excludes meals, drinks, tour arrangements and travel insurance unless otherwise stated. It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, travel documents, valid driver’s licence, visa and travel insurance prior to travel. Travel insurance is not provided but is mandatory. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered. All elements of the prize are subject to availability and change. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and companion. Prize is based on two adults travelling together. Prize travel is subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage, available at qantas.com and Trailfinders standard booking conditions. Prize must be booked within three weeks of notification. The winner and their companion will not accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer points on the prize travel. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or Qantas Frequent Flyer points. Prize must be booked through Visit Victoria contact point and the winner’s notification will include full details on booking procedures. The winner will be notified within 10 days of the closing date via email. The winner must respond within 10 days of the notification being sent or risk disqualification and provide full contact details including name, address and contact phone number. If the winner is not contactable via email in 10 days, the prize will be re-drawn and winner will forfeit all claims to the prize. The promoter (Visit Victoria) reserves the right to add, amend or alter these terms and conditions at its sole discretion due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Winners of the prize agree to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion for no further consideration.
