CIS subcontractor mortgage

Hello
This is my first thread so please excuse me if I don't get it right yet.
We have received our mortgage offer from Halifax based on my husband being Construction industry scheme subcontractor, affordability assessed using his latest invoices instead of SA302. He has been subcontracting and paid through the same agency for the past 18 months with more then 3 years in the same line of work.
IF he decides to change the agency before completion and start new contract, same work, same rates, is this consider as change of circumstances and should he inform the lender?
I recon as him being self employed contractor and never having a permanent work place and permanent contract per se, there is no change to repport. But just to stay on the safe side I would like some advise, please.

Hi we are currently in same situation applying for a mortgage with Halifax and my partner is self employed but CIS monthly statements of earning tax paid etc I’m also on zero hours - out MA has asked for 3 months CIS and 12 Months payslips for me - did you have any issues when submitting your application and were many more documents requested ? Also how long did a decision about your mortgage offer take to come through? Thank you0
