A question about over payments.

I have a mortgage of £30,000. My first mortgage payment of £258 is due to come off on 01/02/17.I can overpay by 10% each year. I have a savings account that matures on 12/02/17 that I can use to over pay. My question is can I put £3000 to the mortgage or is it only £2974.20? TIA
