You probably won't be able to get an overdraft facility, but you should be able to get a solo card, which only allows payments within your credit. You can also set up dds and sos, as long as your account is kept in credit.
if you are having other debt problems, the best thing that i can suggest is for you to pop up a statement of affairs see this sticky http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280
then the wise and wonderful on this site shall be tumbling over themselves to give knowledgeable advice on how to trim your expenditure, and sort your way out of your problems.

Hi Pigginan - you might want to edit your first post to remove the link, as it sort of looks like spam (I'm hoping not), and it doesn't actually work anyway...lol. (I know, I shouldn't have clicked on it, but I'm nosey!).
Hope you manage to get your bank account sorted out, trying-very-trying has posted all the info you should need."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
