Help with organising stuff

Hello!
I have lots of stuff that I need to organise them in partitions so that I will find them easily. But at the same time, I want to be able to pick them all up easily and put them in my car and transfer them to another place, in case I want to move to a new room.
Can you suggest me any solution? So far I had them in rubish bags and it was good to transfer, but nightmare to find stuff. I need something that can fit in car, and at the same time, it won't take me hours to pick them up or many journeys with my car to transfer them.
Thanks!

Get some of those coloured plastic tubs with handles - available from garden centres and online (search for tub trugs).
Using different colours makes sorting out really easy - colour code for different categories. Different sizes available.
Easy to carry to/from car / up & down stairs.
They stack out of the way when empty - and you can also stack ones with clothes/non-fragile things in them.
Also great for doing car boot sales (buyers love a rummage!), laundry and other household tasks.0 -
really useful boxes really are useful, we have loads under the beds and in the garage where they stack.
The shallower ones are useful for regularly accessed stuff, but I had my clothes in them for 2 years when I didn't have bedroom furniture0
