Anyone Tried Laila Broken Basmati Rice? Offer on 5kg At Morrisons.

As the title says. Any good? Love basmati rice but saw this on offer at £2.50 for 5kg bag and wondered if it's palatable or just cheap tasteless cr-ap!

It depend in how fussy you are about long grains. Probably tastes the same, just the odds and sods that failed the QC because they are imperfect.
There's a lot of rice snobbery around but IMHO life is too short to worry about rice.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Broken rice cooks a lot faster and is a lot softer then long grain basmati rice so adjust your cooking times

Brilliant, cheers guys. I'm not fussy over rice tbh, just saw the offer & thought it's a good deal.
Bonus if it cooks quicker too!
