    Fining him each time would make more money too. They don't sound that ruthless to me.

    Have you considered that instead of him being paid 2 days late for his loan repayment, he gets paid 28 days early and should keep money back?

    OP your friend has about as much chance of getting a mortgage as I have as getting a Caribbean island . Good luck getting your money back, treat is as lost and anything comes back is a bonus . Good luck!

    They don't need to find him, they know where he is. They send an e-mail/text saying you're late, and we're going to add more interest to your loan...then he pays it.
