Student Discount Belfast Met College

I have just signed up at Belfast Met and got my student Card. The tutor said you could use this around Belfast for various discounts. Anyone know what these are ? No one else asked what they were and I was too shy to ask , first day nerves and all that ......

A lot of shops give 10% discount to students and lots of hair salons do too, usually on certain days. I ask EVERYWHERE i go nowadays! :rotfl:

A simple "Do you offer a student discount?" usually works and no-one has bitten my head off yet. :j

Peacocks Offer a 10% Discount.

Does anyone know of any bars that offer a "student discount"? Someone said to me that you can get drinks from $1 a drink in the M Club

M club do £1 a drink on tues. Most places in city centre have a student night. Shameless students is at milk I think £10 all you can drink. Also Skye and laverys do cheap nights.

Blueprint pizza in stranmillis is 20% discount on take away.
Springsteens in botanic do 10% I think.
McDonalds, show ur card when you buy a meal for free burger/cheesburger or mcflurry.
