HELP - Flexibility to do nursery pick-up/drop-off, what are my rights/options here?

I believe this argument is being used in my case, however I would argue that the resource level has not changed - my role is now job share so the coverage is exactly as it was before where I did have the flexibility.

There is nothing at all that can be argued because it clearly states 'MAY', not 'WILL'.

It doesn't suit your manager, he can come up with a reason why that is, he has already shown flexibility in terms of changing your days, which again he didn't need to do. You really don't have much of a leg to stand on just because of personal circumstances that has nothing to do with your job.

As said, you will have to find another solution and hope that with time, you might find that there is actually enough people on these days on the core hours and that it is therefore not an issue for you to arrive later/leave earlier, and your boss might then change his mind.
