Hi there, please can anyone who's used the Vouchedfor service offer any insights to the questions below, they're written directed to Vouchedfor so won't read 'naturally':
1. Please can you outline the difference between Free 1 Hr Initial Consultation/Free General Financial Review/Financial plan, or give examples of what specifically you can expect to receive.
2. Will any of these cover pensions?
3. Is there any sort of standardisation across IFAs in terms of what you receive on the free offer?
Appreciate the offer is free of charge to the consumer, at least initially, but I'd hugely appreciate an idea on these questions to know which is best for me and my partner before speaking to an IFA.
Thanks very much in advance for any advice given!

Vouchedfor is just a directory that firms to be listed on. It is no different from any other directory (e.g. yellow pages or unbiased).
All IFAs will offer a free initial consultation. They are not allowed to charge you until they have told you the charge and you have agreed it. it is not possible to tell you the charge without without knowing the basis of what you are looking for. hence the free initial meeting.1. You will not receive anything. It is a basic getting to know you and looking at the background to what you want to achieve. You do not get advice in the free meeting (unless it is clear that your question can be answered quickly and no point going any further)2. Will any of these cover pensions?
If that is where you want advice, then that is where you can have it.3. Is there any sort of standardisation across IFAs in terms of what you receive on the free offer?
I would say yes mostly as no sensible adviser is going to give free advice.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
