Remortgage for Mature Student??

After watching Martin the other night, it occurred to me that i have never changed our mortgage from the original lender so thinking I could be getting a better rate elsewhere. At present, it is a variable rate at 3.74% at Halifax So thought it is time to see if i can get cheaper elsewhere
BUT here is the problem although my wife still works full time I'm now a fulltime mature student for the next 3 years so can we still apply to remortgage?

Have you checked with your existing provider to see if you are eligible for a retention deal with your existing provider? Generally these have no income or credit checks.0

Have a look on the halfax website LINK ABOVE
for new deals for existing customers

Thanks for that now change it to a fixed rate for the next 5 yrs so i know how much we need to pay each month.
Should save us £1740 over 5 yrs since every penny counts.0 -
Now if you can try and overpay the money you are saving each month and that would be even more Money Saving!!0
