Framed and dismissed

Hi,
I was one of the most hard working employees, often arriving 1-2 hours early to work, skipping lunch altogether and staying late when none of that was required. I somehow managed to !!!! off someone in my work place, who made it look like I was sending creepy notes to stalk a co-worker.
My employer believed it was me because back in Christmas I did give someone else a rather inappropriate Christmas present. I never denied the Christmas gift, and already apologised. I denied sending those notes because it genuinely wasn't from me, but was dismissed for that.
While I have bank statements showing I can't have possibly spent money arranging those notes sent since I committed all my finances to studying a course via distance learning, people can just as easily say I paid by cash even when my bank statements show I have no disposable income to do this. I have been skipping some meals due to lack of money, so !!!!!! would I waste money to have creepy notes sent to my co-worker when I can't feed myself?
I have considered calling the police, but I don't have any real proof or suspicion on who framed me. Should I just accept being branded a stalker and move on? I worked for this employer for several months, and now I'm having to leave this job out of my resume in case my ex-employer decides to say more than just confirm employment dates.

Hi,
I was one of the most hard working employees, often arriving 1-2 hours early to work, skipping lunch altogether and staying late when none of that was required. - Totally not relevant. Basically that's your problem I somehow managed to !!!! off someone in my work place, who made it look like I was sending creepy notes to stalk a co-worker. - How?
My employer believed it was me because back in Christmas I did give someone else a rather inappropriate Christmas present. - well that was foolish. I never denied the Christmas gift, and already apologised. I denied sending those notes because it genuinely wasn't from me, but was dismissed for that. - How long did you work there?
While I have bank statements showing I can't have possibly spent money arranging those notes sent since I committed all my finances to studying a course - Are you mentally well? via distance learning, people can just as easily say I paid by cash even when my bank statements show I have no disposable income to do this. I have been skipping some meals due to lack of money, so !!!!!! would I waste money to have creepy notes sent to my co-worker when I can't feed myself?
I have considered calling the police - for what? , but I don't have any real proof or suspicion on who framed me. Should I just accept being branded a stalker and move on? I worked for this employer for several months, and now I'm having to leave this job out of my resume in case my ex-employer decides to say more than just confirm employment dates.
You have no recourse, you worked there only a few months.
I suggest you get some help0 -
Is there really any need for that? How have you even concluded that?
Anyway OP, as you've only been there for a few months you have no comeback. I'd suggest moving on and using your energy to find a new job.
I wasn't being nasty, rather sincere.
the OP appears to be struggling and having any kind of condition, whether mental or physical is not a stigma.
I've concluded it by having experience. Rational and healthy people don't rely on a bank statement to attempt to disprove harassment. Nor do they think calling the police is the solution to an employment dispute. I make no judgment on innocence or guilt, rather that the OP may not be thinking clearly and help is available.0 -

Can you expand on that please?dickydonkin wrote: »You were - and to add, not very helpful.0 -

I disagree.
The O/P needs help - as subsequently outline by Guest.0 -

What was the Christmas gift? I'm just curious so myself and others can learn.
Also why would it cost money to leave notes for a co-worker?
I once worked with somebody who used to not stop sending me messages when we were out of work and when I asked her to stop she threw a tantrum for a week and didn't talk to me but then started it up again. I had to get my manager involved to talk to her but she then went and told lies about me to turn people against me.0 -
That is what confused me, I assumed post-it notes were involved and why would bank statements prove anything?Onemanarmy wrote: »Also why would it cost money to leave notes for a co-worker?0 -

It's like the more the OP protests the guiltier they look!
OP,
If you're genuinely struggling to eat though then you can contact a local food bank and they may be able to help you.
Also I'd advise you to keep details of this role on your CV as otherwise it will look like you've had a large gap from work.0 -
OP, you're on the wrong end of someone with a vendetta - change jobs, include it on your cv but be clear that it was not a happy workplace.
If the allegations come after you, (& gossip is free), you can continue your virtuous work habits (although I really do urge eating regularly) just skip the presents & ask those who have the nerve to speak of it to your face how they'd prove their innocence when it's all innuendo & no proof?
Move on, & outlive the blighter.0
