Iresa ltd Using The Wrong Multipler To Bill Gas
Options
This has probably been mentioned elsewhere, but Iresa are using a multiplier of 11.4718 to convert Gas metric units to Gas kWh. Which I believe to be incorrect.
Have they done this to everyone and would this be the case since they set up or is it a recent mistake.
Any info anyone?

There isn't one as it depends on the supply region and recorded calorific values over the billing period.
Iresa uses a fixed CV of 40.3418 to convert volume to kWhs. My supply CV has varied between 39.4 to 39.6. A CV of 39.5 was used on my last ZOG bill in December.
The CM3 to kWhs calculation in December was 39.5 times 1.00264 divided by 3.6 so my multiplier should be 11.220This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
