My interpretation is that she moved house, missed a county court appearance because she didn't know about it, and VCS got court appointed bailiffs to pay a visit after the charge wasn't paid. Or have I got it all wrong. I can't see how bailiffs were involved otherwise, unless it has been reported incorrectly ... but that doesn't happen with the daily wail.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

I like this quote here too

'I was in a panic,' she said. 'They were saying I owed £3,000 to VCS. I was like "what on earth for?" I genuinely had no idea.'

Ms Corrigan's father is a solicitor and helped her take the case to court.

'I was so determined, I wasn't going to back down,' she said. 'They say they're there as a deterrent but they're just charlatans trying to bully people.
'I was parked in a proper space outside my own home but they just send some jobsworth down to put a ticket on the window.

yes moved house , and probably updated her details

    she was "credit clamped!"

I can foresee "multiple" claims under DPA , the "caretaker" she reported the tickets too was employed by the landowner as was VCS

She really could rip them a new one.

Maybe someone here can contact her and explain - who uses Twitter (not me)?
