Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

Oh dear.
There was a very, very funny post over there recently - I think in the thread about FTB numbers being up again, to the massive's collective total gloom. Against Pa's advice, the poster's son had gone out and bought a house a couple of years ago and is now sitting pretty. The boy figures that he'll live in it a long time, and it's so much cheaper than renting that the buying price is long-term immaterial. Pa meanwhile thinks the country is in long term decline and property will soon be worthless, so he's rented forever and told the boy to do the same.
Fortunately the boy has a lot more common sense than his stupid old crashtroll dad!0 -

Exactly my thinking. Good time to call top.
Although i think we are 12 months away, this bull run needs a breather soon. I could be wrong by five or ten years mind you.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -

I can't fathom how DoucheFromNowwhere thinks he or his MS paint scribbles are significant enough for politicians or the BoE (!) to reply to. Delusions of grandeur. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Even a stopped clock gets it right twice a day.
Do you know what that phrase means? You might as well just say that the crash will happen some time in the next 500 years. Doesn't mean you have some kind of clairavoyant powers when it happens.0 -

I've been calling property a buy since mid 2010. Very recently I've suggested we might be looking at a small 2018 correction in my signature (before more movement upwards if your're interested).

Desperate measures taken by a desperate generation. It's sad really. This bull market took us all by surprise I think it's fair to say. Every year I've been shocked by how high prices have got myself. Who knows how we would feel if we were in their shoes.
I just hope we can figure a way of ensuring more people feel like they have something to lose or we are going to get some very unfortunate election results if we don't watch it.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0
