Hi
I have non-business academic education with no degree, a decade of entrepreneurial experience in Eastern Europe and two years of experience in admin roles in the UK. Recently, following bad advice, I did a CMI leadership course at level 7. Needed to take a break from work for a month to complete that and since then, I have not had a job. It is the third month now, so it's not too bad, but in both of the two interviews that I have had so far I was asked if admin job was not too boring and repetitive for me.
In a hindsight, I think the recent out-of-sync qualification obtained might be causing doubts in recruiters.
What do you think? How could I tell that?
The dilemma is that if I remove the qualification, I have one more jobless month, and would need to remove the qualification from my LinkedIn profile as well, which will not look good to those of my contacts whom I have contacted about employment and who would see my new qualification suddenly disappear.

So you can say:
"Not at all, my aim is to continue my professional development and I would be keen to learn more about career progression at your organisation, but I do understand the benefits of working at the coal face so to speak."0 -
A very reasonable response to give. Thanks a lot!0
