I'm over 55 (just) & looking for genuinely independent advice about my private pension & remortgaging. I dont want to speak to someone who is trying to sell me anything.
I realise i will probably have to pay for the advice, any recommendations would be appreciated.

The type of adviser you need is an IFA. Advice is fee based. So, the only thing you are buying is advice. Any products that are recommended are arranged on a nil commission basis and pay nothing to the adviser. Any services or advice you buy is paid for by you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Dunstanh, how could i make contact with you in a professional capacity?0

He wont answer, but you can send a PM.
He doesnt post here to trawl for customers.0 -
Hi Atush, I appreciate that (and know its against rules/etiquette).
However I have sent a PM, but not had a reply....I thought he may have hundreds of PM's and not respond to any of them ....or just missed mine.0 -
I get a lot of PMs and mostly ignore them. I am not here to obtain business and I am above capacity on my workload and not actively taking anyone else on. So, if you have PM'd me and I missed it, it wasnt personal.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. OK Thanks Dunston.
I've tried 3 so far in my local area.....but none of them inspired me with any confidence.
