Precise Mortgages - Which Credit Reference Agency?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help? We were offered an AIP with Precise on 11/1; I noticed a 'soft credit check' with Experian the day after on my report?
Just wondering which CRA they use at full app stage? Is it Experian a second time? Experian & Equifax or, do they credit callcredit/noddle as well?
Many thanks...

Hi, thank you for the reply. That's very helpful. Nope, Precise offered me the first AIP with a 3.55% rate on HTB & then the same afternoon I had a pre booked appointment with Halifax who have also offered me an AIP later that day.
We're buying a new build so currently waiting for the plot to be released. I suppose isn't better to go with the Halifax?
btw, you said in an earlier post that Halifax use Experian at soft check AIP stage & then all Equifax, Experian & CC at full app stage. I read an article on this website which states that Halifax only use Experian? Is that incorrect? I have an internal A4 credit rating with Halifax so, hopefully all should be OK.
ps - it's very kind of you to reply to posts on this forum; clearly there are many people worried for one reason or another.0 -
I can 100 per cent confirm only Experian0

I have looked at my call credit report & there are soft credit checks on there for the Halifax mortgage promise done in January. Also a soft credit check on Experian.
So, do you know if they use Experian AND Call Credit at full app or, just Experian?
Cheers.0 -
is that 100% sure they only use Experian at full app stage?
Thanks.0 -
