Use a voucher or buy for cheaper elsewhere? What would you do?

Can you split the voucher into smaller amounts (say £5s or £10s) and then re-gift to others? It needs to be gotten rid of, so share the love.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Thanks all, these are great responses.
I think I'll keep the voucher and use for gifts and cards etc (didn't think of that!)
I'll buy the book elsewhere then.0 -
Great idea, think I'm going to do exactly what you would do. It's funny how obvious it seems through someone else's eyes. Thanks!0

I have this problem with some Love2Shop vouchers. I always try and get the best value for them rather than just 'blow' them on something frivolous and I can use them in Iceland if only I could get my freezer contents down! Although I can use them in lots of stores, I buy very little if that makes sense. Most of my purchases are from car boot sales these days. I am always torn between, say, going to Boots for something just to use a voucher when I could buy it much cheaper on Amazon. And you have to be careful with some of the vouchers as they have a use-by date, and I lost £20 by missing one of them.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Well Iceland sells more than just frozen goods. I have £1 and £5 L2S vouchers which are easy enough to spend at Iceland on fruit, baked goods, instant coffee for instance and in general the Iceland prices are comparable with other supermarkets. Perhaps you have higher value denominations.0
