I know you can still claim your state pension if you say moved to Spain but what is the tax free allowance if you moved abroad
Well, it would depend which country you are resident in for tax purposes. You would probably then be best finding an expat forum to ask the question on.

That's a bit like the sales spin George Osborne put on the HR tax threshold capturing ever more people, in a budget statement a couple of years ago: "many people aspire to be in the higher rate band, as a measure of their success". That's some cheek.0
