Undue Stress And Threats Of Harm ?

My friend (male) gained custody of his daughter (NRP had drug alco' probs).
He has been deducted £23 ish from his IS and lost his appeal due to him not giving permission for CSA to contact NRP. They haven't had any contact for 3/4years and daughter is now in a settled environment. He feels if NRP is contacted all the troubles with police will return. Lost his appeal 'cause NRP claimed benefits in '04. Benefits appeal reasons are 'cause he said 3/4years and therefore is contradicting himself. He has taken it further and is awaiting a tribunal hearing. Just wondered if anyone has any advice for me to give him. He is struggling and isn't sure at the mo' if he's gonna go to the tribunal.

I'm not sure from what you say whether he's appealled already - are you talking about two different appeals? He should take advice from Citizens Advice who might be able to represent him at an appeal tribunal.

Hi Fran thanks for reading he has appealed and lost and now is taking it to an independant tribunal. it's a solid claim for undue distress and fear of harm and no show from NRP for 3/4 years. Three reasons apparently acceptable. There reasons are he contradicted himself saying he hadn't seen NRP for 3/4 yrs but she claimed one parent family benefit in '04. 3/4 years more a less to me. I think they're clutching at straws and thinking many don't win appeal but even less take it to the tribunal through fear!!!!!
