On a salary of £35k, i'm finding most offer anywhere between 122k - 132k
I've heard though i can get up to 140k
Anyone have ideas on who offer these sort of sums?

C&G would do £140k without a whimper so ask for more, I would call a few up and ask for the moon.
Problem is you have to pay whatever the interest rates dictate in future so plan ahead.If you don't know what you are talking about keep quiet0 -
