Nationwide did a hard search for my DIP... a couple of weeks ago. Will they do another for the full mortgage offer? As that one search Lowered my credit score! :money:

No.
And stop fretting about your credit score. Otherwise when you move house and it drops through the floor you are going to need medical attention.I am a mortgage broker. I had a hard search for my DIP with Santander. I assumed they would do another one at full application.0 -

When my wife and I applied (as FTB's) a couple of years ago, Nationwide only carried out a single check and that was at the DIP stage. Despite the fact the DIP was based on a different property, value, amount, etc. than the full application no further checks were made other than to hand in our last month's payslips (only 1 each, not the 3 months most folk here seem to be asked for).
All in all Nationwide were painless for us (but we are based in Scotland where things seem to be helped greatly by the Home Report Valuation just being accepted :-) )0 -
Nope. Same search covers three months.I had a hard search for my DIP with Santander. I assumed they would do another one at full application.
They'd only do another if you went back after that.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
