I have recently downloaded the app clear score. With this app it tells me when i have entered into a credit agreement going back to my first bank account. I can see my other phone contracts with tmobile and EE but there is no mention of orange. This is where i am confused?!

    Two things -

    1. Orange became EE.
    2. There are two other CRAs you would need to check - Experian and Noddle (Call Credit).

Just to clear a few points up before i took out the contract for her i made sure i could change ownership of the contract. I was not willing to to take out a contract for her otherwise. The shop worker informed me that after the first 3 months the contact owner ship could be changed.

One of the first things to bear in mind is that mobile phone shop workers don't generally have much of a clue about anything other than how to turn a mobile phone on. If you ask them a question and they think that answering "Yes" will get the sale made, then they will say "Yes".

Generally if you want an accurate answer to a question like that you need to read the contract before you sign it. If it says that the contract cannot be transferred or assigned (which it probably does) then you can't transfer it to someone else, no matter what the shop worker says.
