Does a giftcard payment to Next count?

I currently have a small balance on my Next account (will be cleared this month)

A couple of weeks ago I received the statement for January saying minimum payment is £17

I received some Next gift cards for Christmas so went online and paid £60 off my account using the giftcards.

Does this count as me having made a payment this month or do I also need to send them money from my bank?

Just checking as I don't want a missed payment on my credit report

Yes it does. I've done it myself and it definitely worked for me. I wouldn't have thought they'd offer it as a payment option on the account if it didn't work.

Yep its classed as payment. Go to Morrisons and get Next giftcards to pay off your balance each month. You get bonus points for purchasing giftcards so its a good sideline!!!!
