Just Recieved my Experian Credit File......

Hi,
Just checked my Credit File for the first time online, and to my upmost amazement my score was 999 out of 1000 - marked as Excellent I honestly didn't think it would be that high, as I've had 2 loans numerous credit cards, over drafts etc, but they are all settled so maybe that is why...
Question though, why might this be only 999 and not 1000? and can I get it to be 1000?
Also, would this look good if I was to apply for a mortgage? not sure how it all works
Thanks
Si

whats your repayment history like?
I don't think that having loans and credit cards affects your rating, its when you have a record of missing payments, arrears etc... that your rating plummets. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
To be honest, the scores don't mean anything.
When you come to apply for a mortgage etc, the score won't be taken into consideration because all companies have their own scoring system.
