There was a recent thread here

There's also a current thread ' cooking for one '

Generally theres a place for ready meals. There's some real good ones out there, the marks and Spencer's ones in the round bowl things are supposed to be pretty healthy

It's a balance, have a ready meal some nights, have something home cooked other nights

Thanks, suki, I've merged the two as the first was quite recent.
  • I've never had a slow cooker so I can't really comment on that but I haven't had a ready meal since I was 21 (I'm now 29). I have a bank of recipes that I often use midweek that I know inside out and really aren't any effort. It was an effort at first but now it's second nature. I personally couldn't go back to ready meals...I find them too salty now!
