Taking Leave in New Job

Current job, you book the leave before the holiday.
New job at interview or application, you let them know - there was a thread a few months someone booked a holiday around the same time, did not tell new employer at time of interview and then tried to book it off but couldn't.
I totally agree, because the sector where I am mainly looking for work, would nine times out of ten, ask a candidate/potential employee if they had any holidays booked.0 -
In the thread referred to above, the person actually booked a holiday after accepting a job offer, but before starting the job. They were then annoyed that the employer refused to grant their leave request.
That's the risk you run if you try to take the proverbial!0
