Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna’ board to the ‘Food Shopping & Groceries’ board, where it is better suited.

Is it a seasonal product eg only available at certain times of the year ?
Well first of all have you contacted the supermarkets and ask them ?
Did you ask in store if they were on display ?
I have no idea where but not all stores of 1 supermarket chain all stock the same items, some will stock less items than a bigger store which has more shelf space for more items. Comtact the supermarkets first and see what they say.0 -
Both have the in Stock in Clapham, LondonNice to save.0

I had fresh figs off a tree in Turkey once and they were excellent. That was in June I think.
If we import them from there they are definately not in season.
I imagine they are a seasonal fruit.0 -
Fresh figs are available all year round nowadays.
Israel May -December
Turkey August - end of October ( the best)
Brazil/ Argentina / South Africa December - June."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

I saw them in either in Asda or Sainsbury's last week. I occasionally get them for the parrot so noticed them.0
-
Waitrose definitely have them as I bought some yesterday.0

Seen these in M&S, Asda, Sainsburys and in at least one Tesco Express in London. I don't know how good they'll taste though as they looked very small and green (green figs = less sweet, not soft). Watch out for those with a slightly fuzzy outer skin though as these sometimes can graze the outside of your tongue and lips -this happened to me before and it was really annoying for a few days before it faded away.0

Most supermarkets have them all year round, sold singly or in boxes of four/six. Price and quality very variable, so pick carefully!Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
