Hi, Apologies if it is obvious but cannot find a link to letter templates.
I have done an income and expenditure form and now I need to contact my creditors making an offer of payment. IS the such a template letter?
Also I was told that once I make the offer in writing I should start paying it even if they dont accept it? If they do not accept it how do i make this payments? do i phone them up and ask them to give me details to make payments or do i do this in writing?
Many thanks!

Are you asking for letters offering a lump sum settlement, or offering regular monthly payments to clear debts?DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -

Hi
There's also a full and final offer template on the page January2015 linked to if you need it.
EDIT - crossed posted with caprichos
If you're offering instalments it's good to make the payments you've offered anyway as it shows good will. You'll need to know their details for making payments though, or a paying in book. You can ask for that either in writing or over the telephone.

Thank you James! I am looking into sitting down this weekend and go through them all. I am planing on sending them recorded delivery. Is this necessary?
If it is, should a staple the post office receipt to the copy of the letter and file it in case?
Many thanks again!!0 -

I personally wouldn't bother sending offer letters via recorded delivery. Just keep a copy and make a note of the date posted (if this is different to the date on the letter).
The reason I wouldn't bother with recorded delivery is that post to banks/credit card companies often goes to a PO box anyway. However, it's up to you - if you would feel more comfortable knowing that you have evidence letters have been received then go for recorded delivery.DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
I agree with January2015, recorded delivery if you want to be sure you have evidence of making the offers. If the creditors don’t receive your offers I’m sure they’ll be in touch soon enough.
