Help please don't know if I have won or this is a scam?

Had this email earlier but I don't know if it's a scam or not I only just started comping again! The only sun comp I think I have entered ends tomorrow. Has anyone won these comps with the sun? Do they ask this??? Thanks in advance 😁

That is their postal address, most of that information is on cheques and you cannot take money out of an account with just that info.

Just to let you know I won with this a few months ago - no problems and winnings were in my bank a/c within days

I have recently received a similar email and thought it was a scam too...

I won a similar comp last month. Money was paid into my account within a week and I had a letter confirmation when they had done it.

Yes, I had the same when I won £50. I was equally perturbed by it all and came here to ask. But keep a close eye on them, in my case, they took ages to pay and when they did they transposed some digits in my bank account number and paid it to the wrong non-existent account and I only found out when they sent a letter confirming the payment and I noticed they had the wrong account number on it. Even then I had a hassle getting the payment because they claimed they could not pay into my account until the misdirected payment was returned by the bank. At this point, I travelled up the food chain until someone authorised the payment straight away. It left a very sour taste.

Congratualtions!

I won this a couple of months ago and the money was paid in very quickly. For security I sent them my address in a separate email to my bank details. They also sent a receipt in the post when the money was transfered.
