Do I get a reduction for paying a mortgage?

I'm moving out in a couple of weeks and I'll have a mortgage to pay for, I'll be living on my own. I was told by a family member that my monthly CMS payments would be reduced if I tell them I have a mortgage, but I didn't think having a mortgage would affect my payments. Is it worth pursuing?
Thanks
Thanks

No that's not correct. CMS is a percentage of your salary with a reduction for having the children stay with you for more than 52 nights a year.
I think the only thing that would negate you from paying would be if you had the children for at least 50% of the time. Would that be an option?Overactively underachieving for almost half a century0 -
I didn't think it was correct, but I felt like it was worth checking, thanks. I think the person I spoke to may have had special circumstances due to going through the courts and having lived together before.0

Mortgage payments used to be taken into account on CSA 1 but under the newer CSA rules and under CMS the calculation is based on a percentage of your salary.0
