If you were bringing up children after 1978, and did claim child benefit, then you could be entitled to credits for that.
This link explains about what they were - they could alter the minimum number of years you needed to qualify for various levels of pension.

It wasn't available if you paid the "married women's stamp", and things have changed a bit.
With regard to divorce under the old system, you probably don't need details of your first husband's NI or location - my mum was able to claim despite having been divorced for well over 30 years. However, remarriage may affect that.
As said, ring the DWP, they are very helpful. Have the dates of your divorce / remarriage to hand, and the years you were looking after children.0 -
If you remarried before state pension age/claiming, the they will not use your first husband contributions. If you husband is over state pension age, a top up could/should of been done, which would make the basic up to 60% of his.0
