Access Training Warning

I really want a better wages. So I went online and found Access Training. Now my wife is so angry at me. The web page says you pay after the training, but I had to pay a deposit. They then say this is how much it will cost and then come with a higher costs. I still cannot find there NVQ place, no ONE!

I know I’'ve been an idiot, fact. Just don’t want other to mess up.

They cannot take a deposit for a course at one price and then increase the price. I would suggest you go to the CAB and get some advice about how to get your deposit back from them.

Well, you're the one that said you can't find their NVQ place, my impression is that it's where their schools are. If that's not what you mean perhaps you can explain better and we might be able to help more.

OK Yes Sir. I found out you do the NVQ outside in a working place. The school do the City and Guilds test. After NVQ. I am trying to find the place where is the NVQ and maybe talk to people who do this. Thank you for help

Just looking at one of their NVQ courses at random it says

"The qualification awarded to successful candidates is the City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Bricklaying."

So it may be that their NVQ and City & Guilds courses are the same thing.

I don't know of bricklaying. I know that in Gas and Electrics there is first the City and Guilds then after the NVQ, NVQ needs in work place and I need to find and I can not. So not same,
Sorry for not helping before.
If anyone can find a NVQ student that would be great for me. Now I am getting very nervous because no find the NVQ people anywhere who finish course.

Hello, as one who has been on the tools for years, I would not take one of there students on for the final NVQ. This is probably why you can't find anyone to help you. Access have just changed a lot of things. One being the sales people now only work on commission, get the point. I also have been told, by a third party, that they could be facing some form of investigation - I have yet to confirm that.
You are correct, no NVQ you may as well apply for a job in McDonald's - you stand a better chance of getting a job, sorry.
There are good companies around - look for solid evidence of NVQ completion - that's my advice.
