Oh I forgot to say earlier that I have a cup of peppermint tea after my lunch at work as well now, and that gives me a nice fresh feeling and I can sometimes even go without the chewing gum then as well. As said above, it does have nasty chemicals in so I prefer to cut down.

I must be the only person left in the world who doesn't like chewing gum. Just can't see why people want to chew all day or maybe I'm just mega lazy. OH demands gum though and I buy packs from Lidls for him, 45p for a bag.

You're not alone. I hate it as well and can't for the life of me understand the attraction of wearing down ya bridgework on something that lost all its taste 2 hours ago.

We are a completely non-chewing family here as well.
Sorry Idiot (what a name!), but I tend to find it very "unelegant" when I see people chewing about and talking to me at the same time.

I would just recommend brush your teeth more often. It's helping me cutting down on sweet snacks. (choccies don't taste that nice right after a good brushing).

Crikey, you've just reminded me of another ... Chinese Balls! :D
They used to be all the rage - two silver balls in a box and you would roll them both in one hand - never could get the hang of those, but had a huge laugh trying :D
:hello: Welcome "idiot" *you have no idea how difficult that was for me to type your user name!*
