Has anyone come across a cheap source for these in the UK? I've seen some Kilner ones at £9 for three in John Lewis (1 litre) but I was hoping for 1.5 litre or even 2 litre. (The same have been mentioned on the other thread as £3 each from Wilco).
Anyone know where I can get those?
I want them to start making my own Kefir drink.
Thanks.

Do you absolutely need them to have a screw on lid? If not, Ikea has 1.8 and 2 litre jars: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/cookware/food-storage-organising/korken-jar-with-lid-clear-glass-art-90213549/0

Wilko sell Kilner jars in a range of sizes, including a 2 litre jar for £4. Link: http://www.wilko.com/jams+preserves/kilner-clip-top-jar-2l/invt/0328695
Dunelm also sell a range of sizes at similar prices to Wilko: http://www.dunelm.com/category/brands/kilner0 -
OK, thanks folks. I really don't like those clip top types, so I think I'll have to go with a couple of 1 litre screw tops.
I'm going to give Kefir a try - I've had stomach/bowels/joints problems for months now - Doctors can't figure out what the problem is after lots of tests/investigations. Have tried a special diet, lost weight as a result, now on high calorie drinks to help build me up. Feel like I've aged 10 years.
Kefir is my next 'clutching at straws' attempt to cure myself. Ho hum.0
