Edit: I've now started a new thread about this on the "I want to buy-t or do-it " section. Please ignore this one now.
Hi.
Not sure if this is the best section but I'm looking to get a couple of large glass jars - the ones with the two part screw lids, sometimes called Mason or Ball Mason jars.
Has anyone come across a cheap source for these in the UK? I've seen some at £9 for three in John Lewis (1 litre) but I was hoping for 1.5 litre or even 2 litre.
Anyone know where I can get those?
I want them to start making my own Kefir drink.
Thanks.

Kilner jars? They sell two litre ones in Dunelm Mill"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

Kilner is the main glass jar brand over here. Go into any Wilko and you'll find some.0

Wilco do Kilner 1L jars for £3 at the minute.
Can you scale your production down a bit, OP?!
I notice Asda have drink dispenser glass tanks for 7.50 but they may not be able to cope with the pressure...0 -
Thanks for the replies here. I may have to go with the Kilner 1 litre jars - perhaps from Wilco.
I'll stop this thread here and start a new one on the section mentioned by pogofish.0
