I've got about £60k left on the mortgage which has about 15 years to run. Surprisingly I'm about to inherit about £60k. My natural instinct is to get rid of the mortgage but I'd be interested to hear if others have better suggestions. Had thought of investing in a second property but I live in London and that amount of money wouldn't go far.
