Songs of praise has an article on BBC1 on 'those whose faith has brought freedom from spiralling debt' in 45 mins.
Probably Christians against poverty.

I think you need more than "faith" to tackle debts these days.
Still, reminds me of when i was (much) younger, and at secondary school, around 1980 if i recall correctly, our school choir was invited to attend songs of praise from our local priory.
I remember singing the Hallelujah chorus in descant (cant do it now as my voice has long since broken) live on TV.
Unfortunately i was stood next to rather a large pillar, and the camera never saw me.

Pretty much as expected, a brief promo for CAP
also, less expected, a promo for the Pentecostal Credit Union.
Not much detail in either piece.
And the mention of BBC actionline at the end, links to

which just mentions MAS, Cit A and National Debtline0 -
My Christian faith has definitely helped me to reduce my debts. You never need to tell anyone your debts but knowing you can be strong even with all this with help from church members (you don't need to tell them) and through prayer helps.
Sometimes we just need help with having a simple life. Church can help with that a lot!0
