It must be blissful, not needing curtains & blinds to keep the drafts at bay, never mind privacy!

I don't have curtains in my bathroom or kitchen! Or blinds.

Other then the bedrooms,,I don't have curtains anywhere. Only have those to keep the light out in the summer
  • I have a blind in my bathroom for modesty, as the shower is over the bath right next to the window. If you're able to fit it yourself there are some competitively priced blinds available made to measure online.

I ripped out the ugly stained old blinds from the kitchen windows as soon as I moved in and have never bothered replacing them- am I supposed to be bothered about my neighbours seeing me wash up/cook? I also immediately got rid of all the net curtains as I can't bear them; they seem to breed dead flies.

I'd be wary of curtains of any sort in the kitchen, in case a breeze flaps them towards a hob flame.
    They are an EYESORES!!!!

Ooh, I love people like you :p.

It's amazing what you see sometimes when out for a walk - at night, with no curtains, those peeks into other people's homes are better than telly sometimes :D.

Haha I live in a detached house only overlooked by cows or sheep, and they don't care :)

I used to get the no 49 bus to work and most mornings it got stuck in Sydney Street , waiting for the Queens Guards to pass. Was a narrow street of 4 story houses, lots being converted into flats. So one morning, stuck on the bus, looking out the window daydreaming, I see movement at the window of a basement flat, and this extremely good looking fella was getting a drink of water, as naked as the day he was born :rotfl:

Rather brought a smile to my face :)
